Broadway Baby Mamas

TAINA HERNANDEZ is a performer originally from Miami but currently based out of Atlanta. She is excited to be joining the cast of Broadway Baby Mamas. Recent appearance and vocal performances include Nine: In Concert by The Jennie T. Anderson Theatre in Atlanta and the full virtual production of Brooklyn The Musical by Silhouette Stages in Baltimore, Maryland. She has also been featured in The Virtual Performers Cabaret, Virtual Venue Theatricals Christmas Show, Disney’s Singalong 2, and a special virtual presentation of “When You Believe” from The Prince of Egypt. She has also made her debut in Television as a dancer and testimonial on HSN for the Zumba Fitness Exhilarate segment as well as the widely known Latin American variety show "Sabado Gigante" as a vocalist. Taina would like to thank her husband Morgan and 4 children Nazarene, Alexander, Anais, and Judah for all their support and a special thank you to Actor Mommy for the opportunity to sing in Broadway Baby Mamas.

COURTNEY LOCKE is a Teaching Artist and founder of Actor Mommy Productions. Originally from Houston, she has lived in Atlanta for the last six years. She is so excited to be back at the Aurora with Summer, after being a part of the incredible production of Mary Poppins as a member of the Ensemble. Before that she wrote, choreographed and produced Broadway Baby Mamas with some other talented mommies as well as Moms Unleashed and Moms Unleash on Xmas at Alliance's Club Hertz. Some of her past credits include Mimi (RENT), Velma Kelley (Chicago), Cinderella (Cinderella), and Annelle (Steel Magnolias). Courtney is a graduate of San Jacinto College. IG: @thecourtneylocke

JORDAN PRETORIUS is currently juggling being a mom and professional dancer, and loving every minute of it! TV/Film credits include: "The First Lady" (Showtime), and "Step Up High Water" (YouTube series). Theatre Credits include: Ever After (Alliance Theatre), Mary Poppins, 42nd Street, and Elf (City Springs Theatre Co.), West Side Story, and Shrek the Musical (Atlanta Lyric Theatre). She also worked for Norwegian Cruise Line as a featured dancer/dance captain for Swing! the Musical (Directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett) and other various shows and cabarets onboard. “Thank you to my incredible husband who is my number 1 supporter, I love you!” @jordan__pretorius

TERRY HENRY is a versatile singer, actress, acting instructor and motivational speaker and is delighted to be a part of Broadway Baby Mamas. Most recently, she starred as Grandmama Beasley in Mirandy and Brother Wind (Synchronicity Theatre) and Tanya in MAMMA MIA! (City Springs Theatre Company and The Aurora Theatre).

Terry is the recipient of the Metrolina Theatre Association Award for Best Actress in a Drama for the title role in Black Pearl Sings (Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte) as well as the lead role of Sister Margaret in The Amen Corner (Spirit Square). She played Mary in Beyond Reasonable Doubt: The Troy Davis Project (Synchronicity Theatre) which was nominated for a Suzi Bass Theatre Award for Outstanding World Premier in Atlanta, Mabel in Crowns (Southwest Arts Center) and also played Patsy in the four time NAACP award winning stage play, ‘Da Kink in my Hair (Cobb Energy Center).

This leading lady received stellar reviews for her performance in Once On This Island as Mama Euralie (Georgia Ensemble Theatre Company), The First Noel as Ethel Mae Brooks (Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre), Diana Ross and Tina Turner in Beehive: The 60’s Musical (John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts), and she also won the coveted Los Angeles Theatre Critic’s Choice Award for best performance as Charlaine in the Fats Waller musical Ain't Misbehavin’ (Fullerton Civic Light Opera).  TV/film credits include MARNY’S GIFT as Sybil, Mrs. Crandall in BLACKBIRDs and Mrs. Walters in the CBS television movie, THE LAST BRICKMAKER IN AMERICA starring Academy Award Winner, Sidney Poitier, which she still says was an opportunity of a lifetime and a literal dream come true. She has had principal roles in national, regional and local television commercials and was a regular featured student and Pit Worker on the NBC hit television sitcom "A Different World" starring Jasmine Guy and Sinbad and has been the featured guest on Atlanta & Company, Fox Morning News in Atlanta, Georgia Public Broadcasting Radio, National Public Radio, Fox 5 Morning news in Washington, D.C. and is also called upon to emcee many red carpet events and ceremonies internationally.

She is heralded as a straight from the heart, charismatic motivational speaker and delights in sharing her personal challenges and victories to empower women and young girls. Terry mentors teens and adults in areas of acting, modeling, personal and professional etiquette, image consulting, life skills, self esteem and character building. This Aquarian still believes in the “age of femininity” and reminds young girls and women that they are supposed to be the beauty of the earth. She provides them with the motivation to first have a dream and passionately encourages them to take the necessary steps to pursue it. Her slogan to her students (as well as to herself) is, “It is necessary to have faith, but there will be no movement unless and until you give your faith some feet!”

Terry is also a phenomenal and captivating Jazz, R&B and Pop singer who has performed with big band orchestras and jazz bands across the country and abroad. She is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor on theatre. She is an overwhelmingly proud mother of her phenomenal and brilliant daughter, Judah and being a mom is the greatest joy and honor of her life.
