The Internet is Distract – OH LOOK A KITTEN! LiveScreen Theatre Edition
by Ian McWethy

Sponsored by Anthony Rodriguez and Ann-Carol Pence

Directed by Justin Anderson

Micah should have already finished her paper on The Great Gatsby. Really, she almost has – aside from checking a few facts and details from the internet. With only twenty minutes before she leaves for school, will Micah avoid the rabbit hole of distraction that consumes her every time she goes online? This high-octane comedy exposes the web as a nefariously wacky place where boxing cats, Facebook lurkers, and pig-throwing games threaten to take over schoolwork, or worse.

Cyber Stage from Aurora Theatre will feature new plays, many of which have been created specifically to be presented in a virtual setting. Curated and directed by Aurora Theatre Associate Artistic Director Justin Anderson. Performed by professional actors from the prestigious Aurora Apprentice program, this new way to experience live theatre will thrill you while remaining safe and secure at home. Following the performance, the cast will take questions from the audience.
