This Logo Contest idea inspired Jasmine Renee’ Ellis, Aurora’s Director of Education, who wants budding artists to not be valued only onstage but in all aspects of the production, from technicians, to costume designers. to marketing.

“We will have 12,000 students in our lobby in January and we want each of those children to see these a myriad of great art created by Gwinnett artists just like them. Each field trip student will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design and we will use that design in the creation of Aurora’s Summer Camp T-Shirt. When students see others student work, it inspires a sense of imagination. We feel sure this will inspire our future graphic artists to start designing now.” – Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director, Ann-Carol Pence

“Leadership requires engagement. This design will serve as an illustration that as leaders in the arts, we must continue to advocate for and recognize the next generation of creatives. Young minds can often be overlooked due to their brevity of experience. Yet, artists of all ages have something that is often disregarded: The ability to see something that does not exist. Imagination and Vision.  This brings positive change and hope for our future communities.” – Director of Education, Jasmine Renee Ellis
