We are looking for fun, flexible, and hard-working young actors to join our upcoming production of Annie! 

Audition Eligibility

We are primarily interested in the following young actors joining us at auditions: 

  • Girls who are current kindergarteners and above. 
  • Girls who are shorter than 5 feet. 
General Information
Theatre Address: 128 E Pike Street, Lawrenceville GA , 30046 
Parking Deck Address: 25 N Clayton St, Lawrenceville GA, 30046
First Rehearsal: July 20, 2026
Typical rehearsals run from 2-10pm on Tues-Fri and 12-8pm on Sat & Sun 
Opening Night: August 20, 2026
(Wednesday-Saturdays at 8PM, Saturday & Sunday at 2:30PM. 10AM on Wednesday, August 26.
Note- All youth performers will share their role with another young actor and will only perform in half of the scheduled performances)
Closing Night: September 13, 2026

(Girls will be called in groups for 90 minutes)
Callbacks: February 22, 2026 | 12:30PM – 8:30PM
(Girls will be invited to attend callbacks, if necessary, after auditions)

Audition FAQ

What to Prepare?

  • No preparation is necessary. All audition material will be taught during the 90-minute audition block.  
  • We will share music for you to listen to ahead of time once we receive your audition sign-up.  
  • Young artists are encouraged to attend the available workshops if possible. More information is available here.

What to Wear/Bring?

  • Those auditioning should wear clothes they can move comfortably in, with shoes that will stay securely attached to their feet. 
  • Girls are encouraged to bring water and a nut-free snack. 

Who Should Attend?

  • Girls should attend with a chaperone who will stay on campus in a waiting room nearby for the full length of the audition slot.  

Breakdowns

ANNIE- A street-wise orphan; she is eventually taken in by Oliver Warbucks. Spunky, friendly, big-voiced. 

  • Character Age: 10 to 12
  • Vocal Range: A3-G5
  • Any Ethnicity

MOLLY- Molly is the littlest orphan. Earnest and sweet.

  • Character Age: 6
  • Vocal Range: A3-B4
  • Any Ethnicity

KATE- Kate is the next-to-youngest.

  • Character Age: 7
  • Vocal Range: C4-C5 
  • Any Ethnicity

TESSIE- The cry baby.

  • Character Age: 11
  • Vocal Range: A3-C5 
  • Any Ethnicity

PEPPER- The toughest.

  • Character Age: 12
  • Vocal Range: C4-Bb5
  • Any Ethnicity

JULY- The quietest.

  • Character Age: 11
  • Vocal Range: C4-D5 
  • Any Ethnicity

DUFFY- The oldest.

  • Character Age: 13
  • Vocal Range: C4-D5 
  • Any Ethnicity
