ANDY MEEKS (he/him) is elated and humbled to "come out of retirement" to step back into the shoes of the Iconic role as Bert. Andy last appeared as Bert in the Aurora Theatres production of Mary Poppins (Suzi Award for best Actor in a Musical). Past Aurora productions include: Big River (Huck), Four Guys named Joe (Jose Mexicano), Christmas Canteen. Andy appeared as Mark in the Bway North American tour of RENT and directed/starred in the first regional prod. of the show in Atlanta. ITHICA TELL (she/her) is an Actor/Singer/Puppeteer and VO artist. Recently arrived from Portland Oregon, Ithica has enjoyed an illustrious 22 year career on stage, screen and television. Ithica is a 2 time Portland Area Musical Theatre Award winning actor whose vast resume includes: PAMTA wining Best Supporting Actor as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (StreetScenes), Critically acclaimed performance of Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Voice Six/Mrs. Alexander in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Church Lady in The Color Purple (Portland Center Stage), Adlean in Barbecue, PAMTA winning Best Ensemble as Wanda in Crowns (Portland Playhouse), As a company member of Post5 Theatre she played Othello in Othello, Goneril in Lear, Boyette in Loves Labours, Casca in Julius Caesar and a Weird Sister in Macbeth, Frances in Melancholy Play (Third Rail Repertory Theatre) and internationally learned German to play Ursula in Bon Temps Rouler at the Shakespeare Cafe (Bremer Shakespeare Company, Germany). MARCIE MILLARD (she/her) is thrilled to be back at Aurora where she appeared just a few months ago in Cinderella as the evil Stepmother. Marcie first worked with Aurora Theatre in 2004 when she was cast as Brunhilde in the delightful Das Babecu. She returned to play dreams roles such as Guinevere in Camelot, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Rosie in Mamma Mia! Marcie has over 60 professional credits in the Atlanta theatre community, she is the recipient of two Suzi Bass Awards, and was voted an Atlanta Fan Favorite. “For Mom and Dad, who introduced me to Mary Poppins as a child. Every minute of this joy is for you. Mad love to AC, Tony, Katie, and David. Endless devotion to the Madcap Villains.” 

BRIANNE KNIGHTS (she/her) is excited to be back at Aurora Theatre for the most wonderful time of year! She is an actor, singer, dancer, writer, and an Atlanta native. She attended the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and is a proud Alumnus of the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta where she serves as an educator. She has performed in several theaters around Atlanta including 7 Stages, Southwest Performing Arts Center, the Rialto, and Horizon Theatre to name a few. Her most recent professional credits include Christmas Canteen (2019), Mary Poppins (Ms. Corry), the original musical, Mother of God, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. ROBERT MITCHEL OWENBY (he/him) is thrilled to revisit Mary Poppins for a second time at his artistic home, Aurora Theatre. As an active member of the Atlanta Arts community for nearly a decade, Robert has had the honor of working with nearly every major theatre in town. Past Aurora credits include Newsies, Bridges of Madison County, Memphis, and Les Miserables. He is proudly represented by Classic Talent Agency and has appeared in popular titles such as "Spider-Man: No Way Home", Hulu's "Dopesick", and "Richard Jewell". TERRANCE J. SMITH (he/him) is super stoked to be making his debut on the Aurora stage! He is an actor from Stone Mountain, GA and graduated from the University of West GA with a degree in Theatre. TYLER KIDD (he/him) is an Actor, Singer, and Dancer who works full time in the world of TV/Film, Musical Theatre, along with being a recording artist. Currently part of Aurora's AppCo23, he previously was a Dance Instructor/local Choreographer that had the chance to teach at multiple schools in the Atlanta area. He has plans to one day be able to travel around the world getting to share his studies and schooling. He’s very excited to be a part of this musical and really hopes that you enjoy the show.

SEBASTIAN LOPEZ (they/them) is part of this year's Aurora Theatre Apprentice Company and is thrilled that Mary Poppins is their Aurora debut. Sebastian is an Atlanta-based actor and recently graduated with a BA in Theatre & Performance Studies from Kennesaw State University, with a concentration in Musical Theatre & a Minor in Dance. Theatre has always been Sebastian's greatest passion and they are extremely grateful to pursue performance as a career. They dedicate this performance to their partner Nicholas Knox.

JAHI BOGARD (he/him) is an actor from Atlanta, GA through way of Little Rock, AR! Jahi has received his BA in Musical Theatre from Greensboro College and his MFA in Performance from the University of Louisville. Some of Jahi’s favorite roles he’s portrayed are Lank from Detroit ’67, Sam Carmichael from Mamma Mia!, and Sir Toby Belch from Twelfth Night. Jahi is dedicated to discovering and testing new ways to push the boundaries of African American and Queer theatre.

TALORIA MERRICKS  is super excited to be playing the role of Ensemble/US Duckling Donna in Summer: Donna Summer the Musical. She is excited to help portray this story of black excellence. Taloria is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. Her studies include drama classes at Howard University. She is a part of Aurora's AppCo23. Her past roles have included, Ensemble/US of Mary Poppins in Aurora's Mary Poppins. Also, she was the female identifying Swing in Aurora's Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Leading Player in a production of Pippin, & more. Taloria continues to pursue her passion in all forms of the Performing Arts with the help of God and her family.

VICTORIA DICKSON (she/her) hails from St. Louis, MO. She has an MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BS in Theatre Studies from Missouri State University. Regional: Mary Poppins, Christmas Canteen, Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Aurora Theatre). ALEX GARRETT (she/her) is super excited to be a part of Aurora Theaters production of Marry Poppins! Favorite roles include Miranda in the Busie Body at MTSU, Bianca in Kiss me Kate at MTSU, Veronica Sawyer in Heathers at the Franklin Theater, and Jan in Grease at the arts Center of Cannon County. She is very thankful to her friends and family for their constant support. 

SYDNEY MICHELLE (she/her) is excited to be a part of the Aurora family. She started as a box office associate at the Aurora in February of 2022. She is now happy to be a part of Appco23. Sydney has had the privilege of understudying Ms. Andrew and being an ensemble member in Mary Poppins (Aurora Theatre, 2022). She was an Ensemble Member in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical (Aurora Theatre, 2023) Sydney graduated from The Theatre School at Depaul University (2020) and received a BFA in Theatre Arts. Sydney starred in a short film called A Divas A Bedroom. Sydney also is a content creator and her brand Black.Funny.Diva. She enjoys entertaining her audience by having a comedic diva lifestyle. Sydney is ecstatic to be back at home on stage and ready to work with incredible people.

Kristin Talley is currently a working dance teacher, actor, singer, dancer and props designer. In 2019, she graduated from Young Harris College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a minor in history. After graduating, she became a member of the Aurora Theatre’s AppCo’20. A few of her recent shows with the Aurora Theatre include Sister Act (ens/dance captain), Mary Poppins (ens/asst dance captain), Cinderella (swing), On Your Feet (ens), and Christmas Canteen 2019 (featured ens). She is also a principal dancer in the 2-time Emmy award winning Netflix movie, Dolly Parton’s: Christmas on the Square. Kristin currently works as a dance teacher and the dance company director at Lilburn Dance Academy in Lilburn, GA where she teaches students 6-18 jazz, lyrical, and tap.

KARI TWYMAN (she/her)Performer. Choreographer. Educator. This is Kari’s second year as a Performer and Choreographer in Christmas Canteen! Other Aurora Credits Include: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia, The Hunchback of Notre Dame & In The Heights. Kari has been seen at several theatres around the ATL area. COURTNEY LOCKE is a Teaching Artist and founder of Actor Mommy Productions. Originally from Houston, she has lived in Atlanta for the last six years. She is so excited to be back at the Aurora with Summer, after being a part of the incredible production of Mary Poppins as a member of the Ensemble. Before that she wrote, choreographed and produced Broadway Baby Mamas with some other talented mommies as well as Moms Unleashed and Moms Unleash on Xmas at Alliance's Club Hertz. ALAINA HOLEMAN is the Rentals and Events Manager with Lawrenceville Arts Center, where they oversee event coordination, venue rentals, and client relations, ensuring seamless experiences for every event. As a native of Hall County, Gainesville, GA, Alaina is an alum of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance and Brenau University, holding both a Bachelor's in Theatre and a Master of Art in communications and media studies.

In addition to their event management expertise, she brings a wealth of experience from the world of theatre. She is a seasoned actor with professional credits, including her recent role as Rocky from Paw Patrol on the National Tour, Ms. Corry/Ensemble in Mary Poppins at Aurora Theatre, and at The Stephen Foster Association in Bardstown, Kentucky. This background in performance gives them a unique understanding of storytelling, creativity, and audience engagement, which she applies to their current role in managing events that leave lasting impressions.

With a deep passion for psychology and sociology, Alaina Holeman is particularly interested in how these fields intersect with the arts, especially in amplifying marginalized voices. They are committed to exploring themes of generational wealth, family healing, and identity, and are excited to be part of conversations that elevate these important topics within both the arts and the broader community.

JAI SOUNDAR (he/him) is a 7-year-old who loves to make others happy through singing, dance, acting, and playing characters from stories we all love! He starred in his breakout role for the Aurora Theatre's Jungle Book Production as his favorite character, Mowgli. When he's not singing the 'Bare Necessities,' he enjoys performing in Indian dance pieces with his local Atlanta Indian community, being an emcee for multiple weddings, hosting game shows at his friends' birthday parties and spending time with his little sister. 

MAX WALLS (they/them) is a theatre and film actor who has been acting since they were 6 years old. Recent theatre credits include Ben/Lisa (Disaster! at Momentum Arts), Ugly (Honk at Blue Ridge Community Theatre), and George Ismay (The Last Lifeboat at OnStage Atlanta). They will also appear this fall in the film Wash Me in the River. Max is looking forward to their first time on the Lawrenceville Arts Center Stage, and would like to thank their family for their support. 

ANN-CAROL PENCE (Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director) arranged the music for Aurora’s first Christmas Canteen in 1996 and was hired full-time in September of 1998 as Resident Musical Director. An education major at James Madison University, she used her background to develop Learning Library (or L2). As a musician, she created Aurora’s Musicals by Moonlight, and Aurora’s New Musical Initiative. She has performed as pianist and music director both nationally (Goodspeed Opera House, Pasadena Playhouse, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Kennedy Center) and locally (The Alliance, Theatrical Outfit, The Horizon, Georgia Ensemble Theatre,). As a proud citizen of Gwinnett, Ann-Carol is most proud of Aurora Theatre winning the first ever Pinnacle Award for Large Non-Profit, and the first ever Moxie Award (for woman-led businesses) for Aurora Theatre. These distinctions go well with her 5 Suzi Awards for Outstanding Music Direction. She was a participant in the 2016 Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute and member of the “Best Class Ever!”

Atlanta credits: Drowsy Chaperone at Atlanta Lyric, Broadway in Review at City Springs (Virtual Presentation), and Legally Blonde, Once on this Island, Hairspray, Cabaret, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Wedding Singer and Singin’ in the Rain at Gainesville Theatre Alliance. LILLY BAXLEY (she/her) is a Georgia native and has been stage managing in Atlanta for seven years. She worked primarily as the Resident Assistant Stage Manager at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse, some of her favorites being Much Ado About Nothing, Comedy of Errors, and Love's Labour's Lost. 

DANIEL TERRY (he/him) is happy to return to the Aurora Theatre and to be working at the beautiful LAC for the first time. Daniel called Aurora home as both Technical Director and Resident Sound Designer for 5 years, working on countless shows like Memphis, In The Heights and the first production of Mary Poppins. Daniel is now proud to be the Technical Director at KSU’s Department of Theatre and Performance Studies with brilliant students whose work you will see on this stage and many others in Atlanta. ISAAC BURRIER (he/him) is excited to have joined Aurora Theatre as their Head of Lighting. Isaac has worked on numerous shows with Aurora including Christmas Canteen, Mary Poppins (2022), Swindlers, and several others as the Master Electrician. Before working with Aurora, Isaac worked in Nashville, TN as a lighting and scenic designer as well as a lighting tech in Raleigh, NC. Some of his professional credits include: Ordinary Days (Georgia Gwinnett College), Giant Squid (Woven Theatre Company), Lungs (Woven Theatre Company), The Whale (Verge Theater Company), Beneatha’s Place (Verge Theater Company) and several dance recitals with Rejoice School of Ballet. Isaac is also a graduate of Belmont University with a BFA in Production Design in Theatre.

ALICE NEFF (she/her) joined the resident staff at the Aurora in 2022. Previously, she was the shop manager for Cinderella, Swindlers, and Christmas Canteen 2021, and was a draper for On Your Feet, Men with Money, and Mamma Mia, and designed Mary Poppins, Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, a co-production with Horizon Theatre. She was the shop manager for the Theatre & Dance Department at Appalachian State for many years, and was a draper at Glimmerglass Opera and a stitcher for the Hallmark mini-series True Women. She has designed for Florida Repertory Theatre in Fort Myers, and for Lees McRae Summer Theatre, Blowing Rock Stage Company, and Horn in the West in NC, along with numerous schools in the southeast.

JENNIFER ACKLAND (Costume Shop Manager) is happy to be back at the Aurora Theatre. She was previously Costume Shop Manager and Draper for the 2014 production of Newsies and Mary Poppins at Aurora. Most recently she served as Costume Shop Supervisor at Appalachian State University in Boone NC. Other notable Costume Shop Supervisor positions include Wake Forest University, Festival Stage of Winston-Salem, and The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival where she spent almost ten years as Assistant Shop Manager and then promoted to Costume Director in 2009 until its closing in 2014. She would like to thank her family for all that they do and a big thanks to Dave McKay and Christina Cotner for helping with a smooth transition to Georgia.

EMILY GRACE BLACKSTONE (she/her) is excited to be back with Aurora for another season. Her previous shows at Aurora include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Men with Money, and & Newsies. She has also worked with the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta as well as Arena Stage and the Shakespeare Theater in Washington, DC. She thanks her family and Patty for all their support. 

 RYAN BRADBURN (he/him) is excited to be working with Aurora again! Recent theatrical work includes Theatre Emory's Tatischeff Cafe, South Carolina Childrens Theatre’s Spookley The Square Pumpkin, and Greenville Theatre's The Producers. Ryan would like to thank Aurora for all their love and support! 

KATIE ERIN CHAMBERS* (Director of Production and Resident Stage Manager) is excited to be starting her 8th season with Aurora Theatre and stepping into a new role as Director of Production. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, a member of Actor’s Equity, and a proud alumna of Aurora's 2013-14 Apprentice Company. She has previously stage managed in Atlanta for Horizon Theatre Company, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theatre and Habima Theatre. She has also served as coordinator for the New South Young Playwrights’ Festival, production manager for the Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, and coordinator for the Atlanta Unified Auditions.

DANIEL POPE (Production Manager) is proud to be joining the great team at Aurora Theatre as Production Manager. Daniel has been a sound designer and engineer in the Atlanta area for the past seven years. He’s had the pleasure of designing sound for the Aurora Theatre on many occasions on shows such as: Into the Woods, Christmas Canteen, Sweep, and most recently The Bridges of Madison County. Additionally, he’s worked on countless other productions in the Atlanta theatre community including: Evita and A Streetcar Named Desire as Sound Designer and Production Manager at Serenbe Playhouse. Daniel received a Bachelors in Marketing with a specialization in sales and a minor in Music from The University of West Georgia in 2010.

Taylor is so excited to be joining the staff at Aurora Theatre! Worked at Alabama Shakespeare Festival (2015-2022) starting out as a carpenter moving into the Technical Director (2018-2022). A few favorite credits include: Cinderella, Macbeth, Little Shop of Horror’s, All is Calm, Pipeline, Romeo and Juliet, Sound of Music, Steel Magnolias, Into the Breeches, Buzz, The Agitators, Every Brilliant Thing, Annie, Twelfth Night, and Miracle Worker. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this with out the support of my wife, Tory, and son, Jack.
