New Year, New You Cabaret

ASHLEY PRINCE (she/her/hers) is a musician, actor, and teacher from Mississippi. She's programmed and played every Aurora musical since The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 2017, and you may have seen her at an Aurora Theatre cabaret or in the Reindeer Games during the holidays. Ashley is a proud SCAD grab with a BFA in Performing Arts. When she's not at Aurora, she's chasing her toddler or teaching at Mister John's Music (www.misterjohnsmusic.com). Michael Crute is thrilled to be back at the Aurora Theatre. He recently had his Aurora Theatre debut in Aurora’s summer production of Children of Eden. Currently enrolled at the University of Georgia, Michael will graduate in May with his B.A in Advertising & a certificate in Music Business. He’s honored to be a part of such a talented cast and would like to thank his family, friends and God for all of their love, support and continued encouragement.

AMY DUFFY  is an actor, music director, and arts administrator. After moving to Atlanta to be a part of Aurora Theatre's AppCo, she has worked with the following companies: Alliance Theatre, The Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Atlanta Shakespeare Co., Buicentennial Productions, Horizon Theatre, Serenbe Playhouse, Stone Mountain Park, Habima Theatre, and the Georgia Aquarium. Aurora credits include Men with Money, Be Here Now, A Doll's House Part 2, Beat Bugs: A Musical Adventure, Christmas Canteen 2018 and 2021, and Mary Poppins. JASMINE RENEE' ELLIS (she/her) Originally from Jackson, Mississippi Jasmine Renee’ Ellis serves as the Director of Education. Outside of education, She is an actor, singer, director, and writer throughout the Atlanta Metro Area. Some of her acting credits include: Shakespeare Tavern (MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest). Actor’s Express (Lizzie), Horizon Theatre Company (Roe), Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company (Marie and Rosetta- where she earned a Suzi Bass Award Nomination), and Southwest Art Center (Mother of God), You can see her in Aurora Theatre’s 28th Season Closing Show Sister Act starring as Deloris Van Cartier. Jasmine also will be directing the Summer Camp Musical Finding Nemo Jr. this June.

DAI'SEAN GARRETT, is a native of Childersburg, Alabama. He’s a two time American Idol auditionee and a one time auditionee of The Voice. His first passion was singing, and then he ventured into acting and fell in love. He’s a graduate of Shelton State Community College, with an AA and The University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a BA in Theatre. Dai’Sean moved to Georgia to further pursue his acting career and joined the Aurora Theatre’s professional Acting Apprentice. He loves theatre, but Film/TV is where his passion lives and he’s excited about what the future holds for him. He sends love to his mother and family. IG:@DaiseanGarrett

BRIANNE KNIGHTS (she/her) is excited to be back at Aurora Theatre for the most wonderful time of year! She is an actor, singer, dancer, writer, and an Atlanta native. She attended the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and is a proud Alumnus of the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta where she serves as an educator. She has performed in several theaters around Atlanta including 7 Stages, Southwest Performing Arts Center, the Rialto, and Horizon Theatre to name a few. Her most recent professional credits include Christmas Canteen (2019), Mary Poppins (Ms. Corry), the original musical, Mother of God, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. CONNER KOCKS is thrilled to be making his Aurora Theatre debut. He is a recent graduate of Georgia College where he earned his B.A. in Theatre. He also spent a summer training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. Some of his favorite theatre credits include A Doll’s House Part 2 (Torvald), American Idiot (Theo), and his many performances of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Frank N Furter, Brad, Rocky). Conner is so honored to be a member of Aurora’s AppCo20 and work with such amazing people. He’d like to dedicate this show to everyone who comes to see it. A huge thank you to those who have supported me every step of the way. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. Also hi mom :) 

Andrew Lampley is from the small town of Benton, Illinois. It was there that he found a home in theater. He recently graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with his BFA in Musical Theatre. His favorite and most cherished performance credits were Sunday in the Park with George (George Seurat), Pippin (Charlemagne), Punk Rock (Nicholas), Children of Eden (Noah), and  Oklahoma! (Will Parker). Andrew is beyond grateful to his family, friends, and mentors for building him up with their support and making it possible to pursue his dreams. He is so excited to join the Aurora Apprentice Company and to continue to grow and perform with them! 

CHANI MAISONET* They say the 3rd time is a charm so Happy Holidays once again, Canteen! Chani is a Vocal Performance alumna of Kennesaw State University. CODY RUSSELL (Properties Designer) is a proud alumnus of Aurora’s AppCo 17 and current company member of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project. He has worked props, set dressings, scenic design, and scenic artistry for 22 productions between 7 companies in the metro Atlanta area. When he is not working on props you may find him music directing or teaching young talent, predominantly with Aurora Theatre Academy. Or you may see him on stage singing his heart out; most recently in the Atlanta Opera’s Chorus of Carmen.

Jacky Segui is a singer and actor, originally from Puerto Rico. She holds two Graduate Degrees: MFA in Performing Arts and MA in Arts Management. As her thesis, she wrote a play called Puerto Rico Goes Dark: Stories of my People, which she hopes to workshop soon. Previous credits include Rock The Presidents as Amy/Ensemble, In The Heights as Nina, and Man of La Mancha as Antonia. She is honored to be joining the On Your Feet cast and to be part of Aurora’s AppCo20.

Jacob spent last season with Orlando Shakespeare Theater. He recently received his BA in Musical Theatre from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide).  Off-Broadway: Alcestis Ascending (Straton). Regional: Les Misérables (Enjolras), The Lost Colony, and Rocket Boys the Musical. Other credits include Merrily We Roll Along (Franklin Shepard), The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack), Othello (Lodovico), and Side Man (Clifford).
