David de Vries

DAVID DE VRIES he/him (Director) three-time Suzi Award nominee in directing, and winner for his production of I’m Not Rappaport here at Aurora, David directed last year’s Knead written and starring Mary Lynn Owen, along with its successful run at the Alliance Theatre. Other directing credits include: Pancakes! Pancakes! (World Premiere), Smart People, Red, Storefront Church, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, Collected Stories, The Glass Menagerie, Of Mice and Men, and Sight Unseen. David is a veteran audiobook narrator with works by Joseph Campbell, Leon Uris, and Norman Mailer to his credit. Actor credits include: “Ozark,” “Dopesick,” “The Resident,” RICHARD JEWELL, THE FOUNDER and many others.
