Grace Ambrossi

Grace Ambrossi– Grace Ambrossi is a genderqueer artist based in Atlanta, GA. Their creative work is shaped by their upbringing as a first-generation Ecuadorian in Queens, New York and experience as a community organizer in immigrant communities across the U.S. They use film photography, collage, writing, and cooking to explore and complicate understandings of home, relationships, love, community, care, and intimacy. Grace’s practice includes piecing together disparate elements in order to create a cohesive story. They believe that this creative process mirrors how surviving in an oppressive system requires piecing together what is accessible in order to experience care, beauty, liberation and freedom within daily life.
