J.D. Myers

JD Myers is an Atlanta based actor and teaching artist who most enjoys teaching acting, musical theatre, acting for the camera, playwriting, and devised theatre. JD has taught a range of acting and theatre classes for companies like the Alliance Theatre, City Springs Theatre Company, Serenbe Playhouse, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, and Texas Tech University. Some of JD’s favorite acting credits for the stage include Camelot at the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, Candide at the Alliance Theatre, and The Giver at Georgia Ensemble Theatre. JD holds an MFA in Performance & Pedagogy from Texas Tech University, a BFA in Musical Theatre from Samford University and is an alumnus of the Serenbe Playhouse Acting Apprenticeship.
