Kayce Denise, an Atlanta native, brings her signature charm and powerhouse vocals to this production and is absolutely delighted to be a part of Motown Christmas. This is yet another year where she is a part of the Motown Christmas performance and is grateful for the opportunity to help usher in the season with this joyful, soulful celebration along with great friends. Kayce has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions, including Caroline, or Change (Caroline, Jennie T., Overture Series), 9 to 5 (Violet, Out Front Theatre Company), 42nd Street (Maggie, Shenandoah), The Color Purple (Sofia, Actor’s Express & CSTC), The Drowsy Chaperone (The Drowsy Chaperone, Atlanta Lyric Theatre),Hairspray (Motormouth Maybelle, CSTC), and Legally Blonde (Paulette, CSTC). She has also had the honor of directing Guys and Dolls (Atlanta Lyric Theatre) and Into the Woods (CSTC), showcasing her versatility both onstage and behind the scenes. A multifaceted artist with decades of dedication to arts education, Kayce is a proud Grammy Award winner, Emmy Award winner, Stellar Gospel Music Award winner, NAACP Image Award recipient, and Suzi Bass Award honoree and nominee. Whether performing, directing, or teaching, she brings passion, excellence, and heart to every stage she steps onto. Kayce dedicates all her work to her beloved children, who inspire her daily.
