Kyle Gomez-Leineweber

KYLE GOMEZ-LEINWEBER grew up in Northeast Georgia and is a candidate for city council in his home of Flowery Branch. One side of his family has roots in Georgia going back generations while the other side emigrated from Mexico just a few decades ago. Since graduating from Brenau University, Kyle has worked with local governments, state legislators, and non-profit organizations to engage underrepresented constituencies and advocate for people-centered policies. He served on the statewide Latinx outreach committees for the Biden and Warnock campaigns in 2020 and is a member of the Executive Committees for the Democratic Party of Georgia’s Latino Caucus and his local Democratic Committee. Kyle is a graduate of the Gwinnett 101 Citizens Academy and was previously named a 35-Under-35 recipient by the Gwinnett Young Professionals. He is proud to continuously learn from and work alongside community advocates, local leaders, and working families so that every Georgian is included and engaged in our state’s civic, political, and legislative processes.
