Lisa White

Born in Detroit, Michigan (big love for my city). Moved to a small town in Northern Illinois as a child (definitely don’t miss the winters). Studied Mass Media Communications at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma (long story). In 2005, I relocated to Georgia and began teaching Theatre at Central Gwinnett in 2007. In 2021, I transitioned into my current role as a Career Academy Coach, where I get to do what I love—connecting students with real-world experiences and helping them graduate with a plan for their future.

Beyond work, I have a grown daughter I’m incredibly proud of, two senior mutts, and a busy life managing an Airbnb and our business, Stone Mountain Cookies with my husband, Garry.
