WILLIAM MARTINEZ was born in Venezuela and I’ve been living in the USA since 2015. I have an International Trade Degree and I worked in the Customs Business for more than a decade in my country, but my interests were always different. That’s why I got certified as a salsa casino instructor in Venezuela, as a radio host, I played latin percussion and saxophone and I’m also a chef. When I first got to the USA, I worked as a chef in a hotel. Then got a Personal Trainer Certification, started working in a gym and served as a PE Teacher in a child care center. Sports have always been among my passions as well, in addition to the importance of maintaining healthy habits and overall well-being through nutrition and exercise. I worked at Coca-Cola as a merchandiser along with my entertainment business “South2South Inc.” and my Venezuelan catering business “Fusion Arepas Inc.”. I’m the executive producer and host of the show “Ponle Sabor Atl”, streaming from the digital station Pulso ATL, which I became president of in January 2022.

I’m also excited to host every month the first Salsa Casino Brunch in Atlanta (Salsa Casino is the Cuban-style salsa) at Eclipse Di Luna, where couples dance in a circle engaging in fun moves and changing partners repeatedly, creating a lively atmosphere.

I am also the organizer and host of the Annual Salsa Casino Social Dancing Competition CASINEROS TIMBA FEST. This is a pioneer event that started in the state of Georgia with the goal of promoting and expanding the casineros salsa dancing community in the United States. We also embrace and recognize other Hispanic and Latino traditions and genres through featured dance performances and workshops, in addition to supporting a good cause. All revenues from the competitors’ tickets are donated to a foundation or non-profit organization to help them continue their mission of informing, educating, or supporting families
